So I spent three years writing and illustrating ‘Stealing A Dream’. I was very close to publishing it, but a voice in my head kept whispering: Not yet, little one. It’s not ready yet.
Some say it’s the voice of my inner editor, or maybe I’m just crazy. But truth is: I wasn’t ready.
Okay, I’m crazy too but that’s beside the point.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I’m really going to get my act together and publish this damn book! I’m working very hard now fixing up the problematic chapters and chopping out unnecessary bits… and I need all the motivation I can get–including writing this post.
Ah I feel more motivated already!
But I must say, it’s shaping up real splendidly. Here’s a sneak-peek at the revamped illustrations Isaia and I have been working on (not final yet but getting there!) What a blessing to have Isaia work with me on the artwork. His touch is magic, just what my dark fairy tale needs…
So wish me luck, my peeps. Still a lot of revamping but I promise: I really will go all the way this time.
