My everyday project today was painting the shed door!
I know I’m lame. I’d never painted anything in my whole life–apart from maybe watercolour on paper–so when I finished splashing red on the door of my backyard shed, I felt oddly accomplished.
It was actually quite relaxing. I did two coats and drank my beer. I was not responsible for the walls–that was Glenn’s masterpiece–being the amateur, I was only limited to the door, ha.
No. I didn’t chop the leaves off my frangipani tree. That ‘Before’ photo was taken last year in summer because I didn’t even remember to take a proper ‘Before’ photo before the actual project.
I also bought some plants but I particularly love this tiny lemon-scented pine tree in that cute whiskey bucket. Isn’t he just adorable? š
I’m planning to plant a few more and turn my shed into a fairytale house. A bit ambitious for someone who has killed almost every single plant she bought in the past, but I did indeed double-check with the lovely chap at Bunnings that all my purchases were (and would be) of the low-maintenance-can’t-die-unless-you’re-a-total-idiot variety.
Wish my luck š Thanks again for watching!
