Glenn and I went for a drive to Blue Mountains today. The original plan was to visit our usual hangout, the vegetarian cafe called “Nisch Nosh” (wonderful place, great food, great atmosphere); but to our dismay, we found that it was closed down!

So we went to Leura. Leura is a beautiful little town in Blue Mountains and it has very cool classic Art&Craft shops everywhere. We had lunch at this cafe called “Cafe Bon Ton” and the food there was fantastic!

After lunch we went to a lookout, ah, the name escapes me. Symbiotic Line? Symotich line? Anyway,we took some pics (see some below). For those who have read my story “Broken, Borrowed and Birds” the Blue Mountains is where it is set in and that cliff is where I imagine Bertha would fall from *gasp*

Got a haircut today, and a hair colour too. I chose burgundy, but it doesn’t show unless I stand under the light. It’s a vain day today, thought I deserved a bit of self-indulgence. So here’s my before and after look – what do you think?
